As the residents of Southern California all the members of the My Moving Guys team are committed to protecting the environment and offering our customers a “Green” moving experience.
Our environmental efforts affect everything we do and how we do it:
- We have been working hard the last few years on ensuring all our diesel trucks are equipped with particulate emissions filters which reduce the particulate matter emissions by as much as 90%.
- We make sure that the trucks we put on the road are the most efficient and inspected daily (including the tire pressure) to ensure the most fuel efficient operation.
- All of our moving boxes are made of 100% recycled materials. We use the recycled materials for most of the packaging and protective materials we use during the moves.
- We have installed and are using the battery powered lift gates on our trucks so the truck’s engines could be turned off while the lift gates are still in use.
